The Christopher Bearcats basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Sesser-Valier Red Devils to 47 in the Bearcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Bearcats now sport a 11-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Zeigler-Royalton for a Black Diamond - West contest on Friday, February 17. Christopher will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 66-49 non-league win over Elverado (Elkville, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 6-22.

The Red Devils (8-18) will now prepare for their contest against Johnston City (Johnston City, IL). The Indians come into the Black Diamond - West contest with a 17-13 record. In their last contest, Johnston City was nudged by Goreville (Goreville, IL), 85-57, in a league contest.
