In Tuesday's league outing, the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT), by a margin of 87-55.
The Hawks (4-15) will now prepare for their outing against Ansonia (Ansonia, CT). The Chargers go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Ansonia smashed Oxford (Oxford, CT), 57-53, in a league outing.
The Red Raiders now own a 0-18 record. They play next when they host Seymour for a Naugatuck Valley - Copper outing on Friday, February 17. Derby will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 62-58 league win over Ansonia (Ansonia, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-5.
