In Tuesday's league outing, the Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) basketball squad felled the host Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM), by a margin of 72-56.
The Bears (20-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Trojans go into the A District 5 outing with a 3-17 record. In their last outing, Wagon Mound was beaten by Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 83-31, in a league outing.
The Demons now own a 16-9 record. They play next when they travel to Roy/Mosquero for a A District 5 outing on Wednesday, February 15. Des Moines will clash with a Blue or Lady Blue squad coming off a 84-36 league loss to Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Blue or Lady Blue record now stands at 9-14.
