Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dexter Dreadnaughts (Dexter, MI), 49-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Saline upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a Southeastern - White bout on Friday, February 17. The Railsplitters go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Lincoln lost 58-51 in their recent league bout against Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI)

Next up, the Dreadnaughts play the Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI) in a Southeastern - Red bout, on Friday, February 17. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 55-54 league loss to Bedford (Temperance, MI).
