With the victory, East Ascension improves its record to 14-13 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Walker (Walker, LA) to confront the Wildcats in a 5A District 5 challenge on Friday, February 17. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 25-5. Walker won 66-36 in their recent league challenge against Dutchtown (Geismar, LA)

Next up, the Gators confront the Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) in a 5A District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 17. St. Amant will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 22-6 record after their 58-48 league win over Live Oak (Watson, LA).
