Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Engadine Eagles (Engadine, MI), 67-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Manistique upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Emeralds travel to Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI) to clash with the Hematites in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Hematites go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Ishpeming lost 68-63 in their recent non-league bout against Menominee (Menominee, MI)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Brimley Bays (Brimley, MI) in a Eastern Upper Peninsula bout, on Friday, February 17. Engadine will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Bays go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 75-61 non-league loss to Mackinaw City (Mackinaw City, MI).
