The Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA) basketball crushed the visiting Framingham Flyers (Framingham, MA), 64-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Everett (Everett, MA). The Crimson Tide go into the non-league test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Everett was trounced by Revere (Revere, MA), 56-49, in a league test.
The Flyers now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Wachusett Regional for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. Framingham will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 60-52 non-league loss to Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-10.
