Kansas High School Basketball - Salina Central can't hold off Goddard

The Goddard Lions basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Salina Central Mustangs to 42 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eisenhower for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II contest on Friday, February 17. Goddard will battle a Tigers team coming off a 59-49 league win over Valley Center (Valley Center, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.
The Mustangs (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Center (Valley Center, KS). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Valley Center was nudged by Eisenhower (Goddard, KS), 59-49, in a league contest.
