The Martin County West Mavericks basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars to 59 in the Mavericks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mavericks now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 16. Martin County West will battle a Knights team coming off a 69-32 non-league win over Loyola (Mankato, MN). The Knights record now stands at 20-1.

The Jaguars (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. James (St. James, MN). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 5-15 record.
