Napoleon Pirates (Napoleon, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Grass Lake Warriors (Grass Lake, MI), 61-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Napoleon upgrades its record to 17-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Michigan Center (Michigan Center, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a Cascades bout on Thursday, February 16. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Michigan Center won 71-23 in their recent league bout against Manchester (Manchester, MI)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Addison Panthers (Addison, MI) in a Cascades bout, on Friday, February 17. Grass Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 67-64 non-league win over Springport (Springport, MI).
