Louisiana High School Basketball - Gueydan knocked off by Kaplan

The Kaplan Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Gueydan Bears to 46 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Beauregard for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Kaplan will face a Trojans team coming off a 56-54 non-league loss to Hathaway (Jennings, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-18.
With the defeat, Gueydan moves to 1-12 on the year. The Bears travel to Bell City (Bell City, LA) to face the Bruins in a non-league game on Friday, February 17. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 15-15. Bell City won 68-67 in their recent non-league game against Welsh (Welsh, LA)
