The Hinkley Thunderbirds (Aurora, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Regis Groff Fusion (Denver, CO), 52-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds (3-17) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Denver, CO). The Commanders go into the 5A/4A Denver Prep test with a 7-15 record. In their last test, Kennedy got by Regis Groff (Denver, CO), 59-38, in a league test.
The Fusion now own a 1-20 record. They play next when they host DSST: Byers for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. Regis Groff will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 55-41 league loss to DSST: Conservatory Green (Denver, CO). The Falcons record now stands at 11-10.
