North Carolina High School Basketball - Northeastern thwarts Holmes

The Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 62-52 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (14-8) will now prepare for their test against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks go into the non-league test with a 16-8 record. In their last test, First Flight notched a victory over Currituck County (Barco, NC), 93-61, in a league test.

The Aces now own a 9-16 record.
