Ohio High School Basketball - Jefferson Area tipped by South Range

The South Range Raiders basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Jefferson Area Falcons to 45 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host United for a non-league contest on Friday, February 24. South Range will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 76-48 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-14.

The Falcons (16-6) will now prepare for their contest against West Geauga (Chesterland, OH). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, West Geauga was nudged by Orange (Pepper Pike, OH), 54-43, in a league contest.
