Knox City Greyhounds (Knox City, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Paint Creek Pirates (Haskell, TX), 73-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Knox City upgrades its record to 21-8 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Aspermont (Aspermont, TX) to play the Hornets in a 1A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, February 17. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 24-8. Aspermont won 66-37 in their recent non-league game against Borden County (Gail, TX)

With the defeat, Paint Creek moves to 1-14 on the year.
