Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH), 66-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH) to clash with the Tygers in a Ohio Cardinal bout on Friday, February 17. The Tygers go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Mansfield Senior won 59-55 in their recent non-league bout against Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood, OH)

Next up, the Whippets clash with the Ontario Warriors (Mansfield, OH) in a Mid-Ohio - Red bout, on Friday, February 17. Shelby will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 49-44 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, OH).
