The Lutheran Crusaders basketball team (Springfield, IL), was overwhelmed 55-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the host South County Vipers (Franklin, IL)

The Vipers now possess a 16-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 16. South County will confront a Trojans team coming off a 43-41 league loss to Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 15-13.

The Crusaders (7-20) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Tornadoes come into the battle with a 6-23 record. In their last battle, Tri-City was overwhelmed by Nokomis (Nokomis, IL), 60-41, in a league battle.
