Whitmore Lake Trojans (Whitmore Lake, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lutheran Warriors (Westland, MI), 56-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Whitmore Lake upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Trojans host Livingston Christian (Pinckney, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Livingston Christian won 65-47 in their recent league bout against Auburn Hills Christian (Auburn Hills, MI)

Next up, the Warriors play the Huron Valley Lutheran Hawks (Westland, MI) in a Michigan Independent - Red bout, on Friday, February 17. Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 46-28 league loss to Roeper (Birmingham, MI).
