The Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Sleepy Eye Indians to 51 in the Chargers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Mountain for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will meet a Cougars team coming off a 78-69 league loss to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 7-11.
The Indians (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Mustangs enter the A Section 2 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart ran past Renville County West (Renville, MN), 73-67, in a non-league contest.
