With the victory, Monticello improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Buckaroo travel to Pinnacle (Price, UT) to play the Panthers in a 1A Region 23 challenge on Friday, February 17. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. Pinnacle won 69-62 in their recent league challenge against Green River (Green River, UT)

Next up, the Cougars play the Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) in a 1A Region 23 challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Monument Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 66-55 league win over Green River (Green River, UT).
