Indiana High School Basketball - Springs Valley fells New Washington

Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), 74-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Springs Valley upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to South Central (Elizabeth, IN) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 13-7. South Central won 69-60 in their recent league bout against New Washington (New Washington, IN)
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN) in a Southern bout, on Friday, February 17. New Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 62-17 non-league win over Cannelton (Cannelton, IN).
