Oregon High School Basketball - North Eugene winner over Thurston

The North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR) basketball felled the visiting Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR), 66-51 in Tuesday's league test.

The Highlanders (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Ashland (Ashland, OR). The Grizzlies go into the 5A Midwestern test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Ashland thwarted Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR), 67-40, in a league test.

The Colts now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Eagle Point for a 5A Midwestern bout on Friday, February 17. Thurston will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 67-40 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 4-16.
