The Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball team (Clarksburg, WV), was overwhelmed 95-46 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV)
The Maroon Knights now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Liverpool for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. Wheeling Central Catholic will confront a Potters team coming off a 86-60 non-league loss to Harding (Warren, OH). The Potters record now stands at 14-7.
The Fighting Irish (2-17) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Trinity Christian trounced Valley (Pine Grove, WV), 77-54, in a non-league battle.
