Portsmouth Clippers (Portsmouth, NH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Winnacunnet Warriors (Hampton, NH), 50-48 in a league bout.
With the victory, Portsmouth upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Dover (Dover, NH) to play the Green Wave in a Division I bout on Friday, February 17. The Green Wave come into the bout with a record of 5-11.
Next up, the Warriors play the Goffstown Grizzlies (Goffstown, NH) in a Division I bout, on Friday, February 17. Winnacunnet will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 50-37 league loss to Merrimack (Merrimack, NH).
