Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN), 56-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sartell-St. Stephen upgrades its record to 6-14 on the season. The Sabres host Waconia (Waconia, MN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Waconia lost 83-69 in their recent non-league bout against Orono (Long Lake, MN)

Next up, the Storm clash with the Fergus Falls Otters (Fergus Falls, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Sauk Rapids-Rice will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record.
