Kansas High School Basketball - Troy can't hold off Axtell

The Axtell Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Troy Trojans to 42 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Axtell will battle a Rams team coming off a 56-19 non-league loss to Washington County (Washington, KS). The Rams record now stands at 4-13.
The Trojans (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hanover (Hanover, KS). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 19-0 record. In their last contest, Hanover edged Washington County (Washington, KS), 59-25, in a non-league contest.
