The Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) basketball nipped the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 57-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mustangs (19-5) will now prepare for their test against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Falcons go into the Washington Catholic test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Our Lady of Good Counsel got by Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 54-46, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 14-13 record.
