Michigan High School Basketball - Coleman edges Montabella

The Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI) basketball nipped the host Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI), 31-28 in Tuesday's league test.

The Comets (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI). The Eagles go into the Mid-State test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Carson City-Crystal got by Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 35-23, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Merrill for a Mid-State test on Thursday, February 16. Montabella will encounter a Vandals squad coming off a 44-30 league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI). The Vandals record now stands at 5-14.
