The Cook Hornets basketball team (Adel, GA), was overwhelmed 60-27 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA)
The Purple Hurricane now possess a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berrien for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 16. Fitzgerald will battle a Rebels team coming off a 56-55 league win over Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 18-7.
