The Utica Ford Falcons (Sterling Heights, MI) basketball nipped the host Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), 45-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Norsemen go into the non-league test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, Grosse Pointe North got by Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI), 49-36, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Anchor Bay for a non-league test on Friday, February 17. Dakota will encounter a Tars squad coming off a 49-36 non-league loss to Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Tars record now stands at 14-6.
