The Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL), 51-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Marcos (17-11) will now prepare for their test against Amboy (Amboy, IL). The Clippers go into the non-league test with a 25-4 record. In their last test, Amboy was tipped by Eastland (Lanark, IL), 45-35, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 17-17 record.
