Leland Comets (Leland, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, MI), 32-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Leland upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Comets travel to Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to clash with the Huskies in a Northwest bout on Friday, February 17. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Benzie Central won 50-48 in their recent league bout against Frankfort (Frankfort, MI)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) in a Northwest bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Frankfort will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record.
