The Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) basketball crushed the host Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM), 67-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (21-3) will now prepare for their test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen go into the 5A District 4 test with a 23-2 record. In their last test, Carlsbad walloped Clovis (Clovis, NM), 41-24, in a league test.
The Coyotes now own a 9-16 record. They play next when they host Clovis for a 5A District 4 test on Friday, February 17. Roswell will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 41-24 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-7.
