Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS) and the visiting Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS), saw Riverside [Wathena/Elwood]'s basketball squad knock off Holton by a count of 52-32.
With the victory, Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS) to play the Kaws in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Kaws come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Perry-Lecompton lost 30-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Sabetha (Sabetha, KS)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS) in a Big Seven challenge, on Friday, February 17. Holton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 30-29 non-league win over Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS).
