The Hugoton Eagles (Hugoton, KS) basketball crushed the host Ulysses Tigers (Ulysses, KS), 57-20 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Holcomb (Holcomb, KS). The Longhorns go into the Great Western test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Holcomb was trounced by Cimarron (Cimarron, KS), 49-37, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they travel to Goodland for a non-league test on Friday, February 17. Ulysses will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 60-18 non-league win over Lakin (Lakin, KS). The Cowboys record now stands at 18-0.
