Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple River can't hold off Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton

The Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Maple River Eagles to 62 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madelia for a A Section 2 contest on Thursday, February 16. Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 74-32 league loss to New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-18.
The Eagles (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Wolverines enter the AA Section 2 contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Sibley East was nudged by Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN), 69-26, in a non-league contest.
