Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI), 45-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Milford upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Mavericks host Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI) to clash with the Warriors in a Lakes Valley bout on Friday, February 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Walled Lake Western lost 61-31 in their recent non-league bout against Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI)

Next up, the Captains clash with the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Kettering will attempt to upgrade on its 1-19 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 49-36 league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI).
