Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), 56-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Petersburg upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Vikings travel to Pendleton County (Franklin, WV) to clash with the Wildcat in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Wildcat go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Pendleton County lost 49-37 in their recent non-league bout against Lewis County (Weston, WV)

Next up, the Golden Tornado clash with the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) in a Appalachian Mountain bout, on Thursday, February 16. Keyser will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 62-37 league win over Moorefield (Moorefield, WV).
