The Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) basketball nipped the visiting Richmond Spartans (Richmond, MO), 52-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Huskers (8-15) will now prepare for their test against Holden (Holden, MO). The Eagles go into the Missouri River Valley - East test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Holden got by Knob Noster (Knob Noster, MO), 52-32, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Carrollton for a Missouri River Valley - East test on Thursday, February 16. Richmond will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 57-37 non-league win over Sweet Springs (Sweet Springs, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 16-5.
