The Port Huron Northern Huskies basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Port Huron Big Reds to 25 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grosse Pointe South for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Port Huron Northern will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 38-20 non-league win over Utica (Utica, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-9.
The Big Reds (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Utica (Utica, MI). The Chieftains enter the non-league contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Utica was routed by Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI), 38-20, in a non-league game.
