The Washington Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Schlagle Stallions to 34 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyandotte for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Washington will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-46 league win over Sumner Academy (Kansas City, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-8.

The Stallions (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Park (Topeka, KS). The Scots enter the Meadowlark contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Highland Park triumphed over Atchison (Atchison, KS), 65-51, in a league contest.
