The Freshman Opponent (, ) basketball nipped the visiting Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool Nighthawks (Topeka, KS), 22-20 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The (36-46) will now prepare for their test against Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT). The Hilltoppers go into the test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Bridgeport Central was tipped by Warde (Fairfield, CT), 49-35, in a league test.

The Nighthawks now own a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Shawnee Mission Christian for a test on Friday, February 17.
