New Mexico High School Basketball - Del Norte can't hold off Valley

The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Del Norte Knights to 50 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bernalillo for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Valley will battle a Spartans team coming off a 39-32 non-league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 5-8.
The Knights (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Hope Christian nudged Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 50-47, in a non-league contest.
