In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Aledo Bearcats soccer squad scored a close 3-0 win over the Granbury Pirates.
The Bearcats (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders go into the 5A Region 1 District 5 battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Rider nipped Azle (Azle, TX), 5-0, in a league battle.
The Pirates (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets go into the 5A Region 1 District 5 battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Azle nudged Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 2-1, in a league test.
