In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Henderson Lions soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Carthage Bulldogs.
The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Spring Hill nudged New Diana (Diana, TX), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Center (Center, TX). The Roughriders come into the 4A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Center nudged Sabine (Gladewater, TX), 1-0, in a league battle.
