In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Chaparral Pumas baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Moreno Valley Vikings.
The Pumas (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Serrano (Phelan, CA). The Diamondbacks go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Serrano tipped Adelanto (Adelanto, CA), 13-4, in a non-league game.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA). The Brahmas go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Diamond Bar was overwhelmed by Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA), 16-2, in a non-league game.
