The Doherty Spartans basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Vista Ridge Wolves to 36 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Creek for a contest on Thursday, February 16. Doherty will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-40 league loss to Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 11-7.
The Wolves (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Liberty dropped by Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO), 53-39, in a non-league contest.
