Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), 66-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Capital upgrades its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 5 bout on Saturday, February 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 15-8. Los Lunas lost 55-44 in their recent league bout against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 5 bout, on Saturday, February 17. Albuquerque will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Ravens come into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 72-57 league loss to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
