Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 68-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Leonardtown upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD) to play the Hornets in a Southern Maryland bout on Friday, February 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Great Mills won 57-54 in their recent league bout against Chopticon (Morganza, MD)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Friday, February 16. Calvert will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 55-50 league loss to Northern (Owings, MD).
