Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME), 73-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain Valley upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Falcons travel to Oceanside (Rockland, ME) to clash with the Mariners in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 18-0. Oceanside won 86-29 in their recent league bout against Leavitt (Turner, ME)
